Mark Ramsey serving as one of President Trump’s Electoral College Electors in December 2020. Mark authored, defended, and successfully passed an historic resolution condemning the US Supreme Court for refusing to hear the Texas Election Audit case that was joined by multiple other states.
Mark S. Ramsey, P.E.
Mark authored a peer-reviewed technical book, “Practical Wellbore Hydraulics and Hole Cleaning”, published in 2019. Mark was named a Texas Tech College of Engineering “Distinguished Engineer” in 2016. He is a registered professional engineer with over 40 years of multi-disciplined research and drilling operations engineering experience, primarily in the oil and gas drilling industry. Mr. Ramsey was named a Charter Member of the Texas Tech Academy of Mechanical Engineers “for outstanding contributions to the profession” and earned the “Distinguished Instructor Award” from Exxon while employed there. He has traveled the world extensively, teaching and working on six continents. He is known as an innovator and holds several U.S. and international patents. Mr. Ramsey holds a B.S.M.E. from Texas Tech University (with High Honors) and was elected by Texas Tech to serve on their Industrial Advisory Council. Mark is a member of several area Republican Clubs and a longtime member of the NRA, GOA and the Tomball Gun Club.Mark and his wife Pauline have been married for 40 years and have three grown children, a daughter in law, a son in law, and four grandchildren. - The Texas Sunset Commission invited Mark to author a review of the Texas Education Agency’s textbook selection process. Several of Mark’s recommendations led to language in proposed legislation.
