To: Voters of the North Harris County Regional Water Authority (NHCRWA) place 4.
I have thrown my experience into the November 8, 2022 General Election race for NHCRWA District 4.
Water rates are too high and water bills are skyrocketing.
The current board has had no turnover in twenty years. My opponent has been on the board 23 years since its inception and lobbied for its existence in the first place. This board has continued to raise rates and fees over their entire tenure—over 2000%!
It is time for a fresh perspective! It is time for a change!

The Issues
Water bills are through the roof thanks to the NHCRWA fees and current administration. We need to ask “Why?”.
There hasn’t been a fresh perspective on the board for the past 20 years, and 4 out of 5 members have been in office for 23 years.

To achieve equal representation among voters, state and local governments redraw district boundaries every 10 years following a U.S. census to reflect population growth, decline, and other demographics. In addition to changing the boundaries, this process also impacts the elected representation of the districts in the North Harris County Regional Water Authority (NHCRWA). On November 8th, four NHCRWA Board members will face off in a general election. These members have been on the board for 20 years, and have overseen our rising water bills.
It's time for a new perspective. It's time for a change.
